POLICIES
We look forward to your stay at the Allegiance Bed & Breakfast in the quaint village of Mount Morris, New York. Before your arrival please take a moment to read our policies regarding your reservation with us. If you have any questions regarding or may need further clarification, please contact us anytime.
RESERVATIONS
Room rates listed are per night and based on double (2 person) occupancy except where otherwise noted. Please see additional policies section. A 3% Occupancy Tax and 8% New York State Sales Tax will automatically be added to the listed room rate per night.
Reservations must be guaranteed with a valid credit card. A Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express credit card number and expiration date are required to secure a reservation prior to arrival. Upon arrival please notify the Innkeeper if cash and/or an alternate credit card will be used. We do not accept personal checks.
Deposits are not required at the time of the reservation for single rooms unless the reservation is for a special event, group or multiple room reservation. A group or multiple room reservation is more than 2 rooms. A special event is a wedding, baby and/or bridal shower, or any other type of event. At the time of a special event, group or multiple room reservation a deposit equal to 30% of the total reservation will be required.
Cancellations for single rooms must be in writing and must be made 14 days before the check-in date. If less than a 14 day notice the credit card will be charged for the full amount of the reservation.
For special event, group or multiple room reservations a 60 day cancellation notice is required and must be in writing and must be made before the event or check-in date. If less than a 60 day notice the credit card will be charged for the remaining balance and/or full amount of the reservation.
All reservations for Graduation Weekend and Parents Weekend or any event related to the University a 90 day cancellation notice is required and must be in writing and must be made before the check-in date. If less than a 90 day notice the credit card will be charged for the full amount of the reservation.
If a single room is cancelled for any reservation for a group, multiple room or University related event the single room will be subject to the required cancellation notice and charges. However, if a cancellation notice is less than the required time and the room is able to be re-booked, a rebooking fee of $50.00 will be charged and the remaining cancellation fee will be waived.
Reduced Stays If you reduce your reservation after checking-in that has more than one night you are responsible for full payment of the original reservation booking.
Gift Certificates are available for purchase on-line or direct with the Innkeeper. We do not honor any gift certificates from a third party. If you have a gift certificate purchased from the Allegiance please inform us when making your reservation or you may enter the information directly when booking your reservation.
We ask that you read any restrictions or expiration dates to assure it can be redeemed. We reserve the right to limit the number of certificates we accept with one reservation.
Donation Certificate (those that bid on at a charitable event) reservations will be accepted via phone reservations only. Upgrades will only be considered if a room style is available at time of check in, not at the time reservation is made and you will be charged accordingly. Expiration dates may not be extended.
Refunds for any deposits will be made within 30 days of proper notice as required in the above cancellation policy. Refunds will be made to the same credit card charged at the time the reservation was made and a $35.00 processing fee will be charged at the time of refund.
Check-in: 4:00 pm – 10:00 pm
With advance notice, we can assist you with an early check in if your room is available or we will be glad to store your baggage until your room is ready. Early arrivals are not guaranteed early check-in without prior notice and/or advance arrangements being made with the Inn Keeper.
With advance notice, late arrivals after 10:00 p.m. may be accommodated when necessary and a late arrival fee of $35.00 will be charged. A 24 hour notice is required for any late check-in after 10:00 pm.
Early check-ins are available with 24 hour advanced notice and an additional fee of $35.00 will be charged.

Check-out: 11:00 am
With advance notice we may accommodate a later checkout time if needed. Additional charges may be incurred for each hour after 11:00 am if arrangements are not made in advance for a later check-out.

Frills & Add-Ons
We want to make your getaway more of an experience than just a place to stay. From unique special occasion frills or delicious add-ons, we have created seasonal offers to complement your stay. Frills & add-ons are only available from April 1 to November 30. View our Frills & Add-ons section to find purchases to enhance a special occasion or celebration.
ADDITIONAL POLICIES

All room rates include a delicious gourmet style three course hot breakfast. Continental items are available on the main table along with water, a variety of fruit juices, coffee and tea. The main dining room is only available to our registered guests. If you have a special someone or family member you would like to invite to dine with you, please make arrangements at least 24 hours in advance and an additional charge of $20.00 will be added to your room charges. Additional persons are subject to availability at the discretion of the Inn Keeper.

Room rates are based on our summer and winter seasons. The Summer season is from April 1 through November 30. The Winter season is from December 1 through March 31. All rates are quoted based on our summer season. The winter season rate is $35.00 off the summer rate for each room and some rooms may not be available during the winter season.

Due to any unforeseen circumstances that may arise we reserve the right to move you to another room that would be comparable and/or considered an upgrade to you original reservation.

All guest rooms are located on the second floor of the mansion. Given the historical nature and age of the mansion we do not have handicapped accessible rooms. Access to the mansion is by a main entry with stairs as well as a center staircase up to the second floor.

Breakfast is served in the main dining and sun room from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Additional seating is also available on the front portico.

No minimum stay is required except on certain occasions. A two-night minimum may be required on peak or special event weekends (Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday) during our peak season which is from May through October. Some examples are any University related event such as graduation, parent’s weekend, craft fair or fall colors, etc. Please inquire with the Inn Keeper.

Maximum occupancy per room is two persons with the exception of Letchworth which is four. Children over the age of six are accepted and count as one person for purposes of occupancy total. This includes newborns and infants.

Roll-away beds are available and may be set up in king size rooms only. The fee for a roll away bed is $75.00 per night.

Room rates and additional fees are exclusive of Occupancy and New York state sales tax and applicable charges will be automatically added to the room charges.

All room rates and/or additional fees are subject to change without prior notice.

We gladly provide a 10% discount for the following – AARP, AAA, Veterans and Active Military – Be sure to mention this to the Innkeeper when making a reservation to receive the discount.

No smoking in the mansion is allowed at any time. Only fresh air smoking is allowed in designated areas of the property. A $500.00 cleaning fee of will be charged for removal of any smoke residue from a guest room.

Be sure to securely lock your car and remove any valuable items in plain sight.

Each guest shall be responsible for any significant damages to the contents of their guest room or mansion property and any additional charges for repairs or replacements will be automatically added to room charges.

Want to give a gift to someone special, we can provide a gift certificate at any time. Just speak to the Inn Keeper.

Special multiple room/group discount rates are available. Discounts are only available when booked directly with the Inn Keeper.

Pet Policies
We welcome your four-legged furry friend to our home. Although we love all animals of any kind and have two tea-cup schnauzers ourselves, we must apologize that no other furry friends are allowed. To keep all our guests happy, including those not traveling with four-legged friends, we have a few guidelines below.

A $20.00 per day pet fee will be added to your room rate.

A Pet Policy Letter will be presented at the time of check-in for you to acknowledge.

Dogs weighing less than 80 pounds are welcome in select “pet friendly designated” guest rooms only. Before you consider making a reservation please inquiry directly with the Innkeeper about room selection.

Only one dog per designated guest room is allowed. Some exceptions may apply if each dog weighs less than 20 pounds.

All dogs must be kept on a leash while in the house and outside on the property. Please be sure to clean up after your dog. Waste bags are available upon request.

Please keep dogs off of the beds and furniture and no grooming/bathing of your dog during your stay.

Dogs are not permitted in the dining room during breakfast (unless they are service dogs).

Dogs may not be left alone in the guest room while you are away from the property unless they are placed in a crate.

Guests are responsible for any damages to the room and its contents as stated in the Pet Policy Letter.

While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.

Covid-19 Policies
We are committed to opening safely and responsibly to ensure the health of our guests, our community and ourselves. After close monitoring of New York State and CDC guidelines for lodging protocols, we have set in place the following policies for the foreseeable future:

All guests are required to wear a mask and to maintain proper social distancing while spending time in any of the common spaces of the property.

Dining room tables will allow for individual party seating with a minimum of 6 feet distance between tables.

Breakfast will be served in a non-buffet style to eliminate high touch surfaces.

We will take the utmost care in all food preparation including the use of masks and gloves at all times when cooking.

Air purifiers and multiple hand sanitizer areas will be located throughout the common spaces of the mansion.

We will rigorously clean and disinfect all guest rooms after each use and any high-touch common spaces of the mansion each day.

If you are feeling any symptoms of illness please notify us immediately before your arrival which may affect your stay with us.
